Sunoco Logistics selects Medgates IH softwareMarch 27, 2009
Medgate is pleased to welcome Sunoco Logistics as its newest client. Sunoco Logistics will be using Medgates Industrial Hygiene software suite to track Occupational Hygiene data. Sunoco Logistics was referred to Medgate by its affiliated company, Sunoco Inc., which has been using Medgates full OHS software offering since 2003.
Sunoco Logistics is a Master Limited Partnership formed by Sunoco, Inc. Sunoco Logistics engages in the transport, terminalling, and storage of refined products and crude oil, and the purchase and sale of crude oil in the northeast, Midwest, and southwest United States. Its Eastern Pipeline System segment owns and operates approximately 1,650 miles of refined product pipelines that transport gasoline, heating oil, diesel and jet fuel, liquefied petroleum gases, refining feed stocks, and other hydrocarbons from refineries in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and New Jersey, as well as from third party locations. This segment also includes approximately 140 miles of crude oil pipelines; and various joint venture interests in refined product pipeline companies. The Terminal Facilities consist of 8.9 million barrels of refined product terminal capacity and 16.0 million barrels of crude oil terminal capacity. The Western Pipeline System consists of approximately 3,635 miles of crude oil pipelines, located principally in Oklahoma and Texas and an equity interest in two crude oil pipelines.
