Medgate President Authors Article in UK HR Magazine on Data Privacy and Global Electronic Health Data Management Systems.May 1, 2010
Mark Wallace, lawyer and President of Occupational Health and Safety Software company Medgate Inc., has authored an article to help multinational organizations navigate one of the most complicated components of a global employee Health and Safety system roll-out. “Data Privacy and Protection and Employee Health Data Systems” identifies the data privacy issues a company would encounter in the implementation of their global electronic data system and discusses how these issues can be overcome. Topics including EU data protection legislation, the processing of personal data in the EU, and obtaining employee consent are all evaluated and discussed. The article was published in the April edition of the UK’s Occupational Health Magazine and online in Personnel Today.
