Incident
This module captures detailed information on environmental spills and other incidents.. An incident can be investigated using Medgate’s Why Tree root cause analysis or data can be imported through an external root cause analysis tool. The incident record includes fields for the classification of the incident, persons involved, and identified hazards. Medgate can be used to perform a risk assessment to determine the probability and severity of a reoccurrence. Corrective Actions can be assigned automatically based on findings or can be added and assigned manually.. E-mails can be sent directly through Medgate notifying the assignment of a corrective action and reminders and notifications can be set-up to run automatically through Medgate’s Automatic e-mail notification system (MAEN). Through use of the MAENs system, users can define the frequency of reminders for when the activity is due and once it becomes overdue.
Statistical reports can be generated at an organizational level or across the enterprise to see the patterns of environmental incidents within your company.
