Body Fluid Exposure
This module captures information on any exposure to body fluids including the work flow to include the occurrence on the OSHA 300 log. The module captures the description of the exposure, where it occurred, the procedure that was being performed at the time of exposure, body part affected, information on the type of sharp (i.e. type, brand, model etc). There are data fields for the type of fluid, volume, severity and risk level. Data is also maintained on the exposure source. An exposure management section tracks whether counselling was provided, prophylaxis was recommended and/or accepted and what protocol was followed. Easy links to all clinical testing performed and immunizations are available as well as a complete corrective action tracking plan.
