Clinic Visits
This module tracks health centre visits by treatment date and visit reason. Detailed information on employee’s medical condition(s) and medical procedure(s) performed is captured. Treatment notes are secured through system settings that define the time period for the editing of saved notes. The module captures the health centre, the attending practitioner, the chief complaint, the time taken for the visit, the disposition following the visit, and vitals information. Visits can be flagged as being Occupational and/or Case Managed and linked directly to these modules (Injury/illness Tracking and Case Management) for the direct flow of data.
Diagnostic information can be flagged for inclusion on a Problem List report. Procedure information is captured along with their associated costs. Treatment notes can be written in free-form text or selected from a user-defined table of common phrases. Notes can be viewed directly on the screen for all related visits and case management notes as well. A review and sign feature is available allowing practitioners to review and electronically sign their notes. A complete Duty Disposition Report and Medical Chart report are included.
Defining Clinic Visit Reason Templates:
The “Visit Reason” field can be associated with any of the medical modules to standardize procedures or treatment templates. For example, if an annual physical examination includes audiometric testing, blood work and a wellness questionnaire, then the specific forms and/or activities for the three related modules would be accessed directly from within the Clinic Visits module.
Referral forms can be produced from the system and stores as a record with the employee’s file. Also any external documentation (i.e. pictures, e-mail attachments, letters etc.) linked to the visit can be scanned and attached to the employee’s file.
The Clinic Visits module includes a variety of employee specific as well as aggregate reports. Data can be produced in a tabular or graphic format.
Immunizations
This module permits tracking of immunizations and their related recalls. It includes features for automatic generation of recall letters and specific fields for recording of TB test results. Other fields include vaccine name and lot no, dose amount and expiration date, injection site and route of entry. Data fields are also available for employees who decline an immunization with free text field for reason. Batch Immunization recall letters can be printed or e-mailed directly through the system.
