Medgate is a n-tier, thin client, Web based product, developed with a Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture pattern. It has a Browser based User Interface that was developed using common HTML/JavaScript/Ajax technologies, and is compatible with both Internet Explorer and Firefox. The application runs on standard Windows 2003 Servers under Internet Information Server (IIS) using the .NET Framework. It works with any back end database server that supports either the Oracle or SQL Server databases.
